If you do not have Duo Mobile installed on a mobile phone, follow these instructions: https://scshelpdesk.freshdesk.com/en/support/solutions/articles/151000193700-install-the-duo-mobile-app
before proceeding.
Once you have Duo Mobile installed, you are ready to add a Duo account that will be used when connecting remotely connecting to the SCS network. Before you begin, contact the IT department and provide them with the phone number of the device you installed Duo Mobile on. They will add the phone number to your online account and send you a text message with a link that will add your account to the Duo Mobile application.
Once you receive the text message, click the link and you’ll be asked to name your account, leave the default name or change it if you like and hit save.
There may be an option to test or perform a tutorial after saving the account do this if you like (not required) and then close the Duo App.
When you attempt to connect to the SCS network using the AnyConnect VPN application on your pc, your phone will display a notification for you to verify your identity. It will briefly display at the top of your screen, you can touch it there or open the notifications list and you can open it from there where it should look similar to the second image below. It should also display if you open the DUO app directly.
Only approve the request if you are actively attempting to log in.
After approving the request, your AnyConnect application should complete the connection attempt. If you take too long to approve the request in DUO, you may have to try again.
