Start typing "choose default app" in your search box. When "Choose a default app for each type of file" is displayed, click on it.
This will bring up a list of file types and the applications used to open them. Type pdf in the search bar and hit enter. This will show you the current application set to open PDF's, which in this case is Microsoft Edge.
Click on the current application to see a list of suggested applications. Click on your desired application and the click the "Set default" button to change it to the default. If your desired application is not in the list, please contact the IT department.
